Mevagissey still retains its traditional character and nowadays has a selection of top quality pubs, restaurants and shops. The fish and chip
shop, local artwork and hand made silver jewellery are top class. There is a lot of accommodation, including a harbourside hotel, many fishermans cottages
and guesthouses, so enjoy the best of Cornish hospitality. Damon Alban of Blur has a place, over looking the harbour and property here is in demand.
When it comes to views, Mevagissey harbour is one of the best. You can also buy fresh fish and lobsters from the harbourside.
