These mushrooms have been cultivated and nurtured in Japan for more than a thousand years, and are now a sought after ingredient for many Oriental dishes, making a good accompaniment to meats, stir-fries and heavy sauces.
Cubensis spore strains, magic mushroom.
ORISSA is a strain from India. This strain produces mushrooms with very big caps.
They often grow to enormous sizes. Mushrooms with caps the size of dinner plates have been reported.
Their other claim to fame is that they were discovered by the legendary cubensis expert John Allen.
They don’t grow very quickly and the flushes will be quite small, but the size of the mushroom will compensate you.

B+ is a good choice for first timers. As it is a very-easy-to-cultivate strain.
If you want to produce large mushrooms a substrate that is rich of nutrients is important.
But, these shrooms will also grow quite well under mediocre conditions. B+ produce big caramel colored caps.
When first introduced, many mycologists thought the B+ was actually Psilocybe azurescens.
The B+ strain has since been correctly reclassified as Psilocybe cubensis.

KEEPERS CREEPERS Another strain with a fantasy name. This one is a popular strain because of its easy fruiting capabilities.
The "Creepers" has shown to be a very strong and fruitful strain that gives some very nice sized fruits as well as being easy to grow.
It is also reported to be one of the highest potency strains around at this time according to growers in Amsterdam.

PALENQUE Palenque is the place where the classical Maya ceremonial center was situated. The use of magic mushrooms was one of the essential rituals of this civilisation. There is evidence of mushroom worship dating back to 300 AC. Stone images of mushrooms, dating back to about 1000 BC, have been found in Guatemala.

CAMBODIAN This strain is recommended for novice mushroom cultivators.
This strain producs mycelium very quickly and it grows very well on different substrates.
Our favourite strain due to the massive flushes.
This is a very nice mushroom from Cambodia, South East Asia.
The spores were discovered by the famous authority on hallucinogenic mushrooms John Allen, at the well known Angkor Wat temple.

HUAUTLA was originally collected in Huautla de Jimenez, Mexico, the hometown of the well-known mushroom shaman Maria Sabina.
Celebrities including Bob Dylan and John Lennon made a pilgrimage to this little village to experience a ritual with Maria Sabina. Maria Sabina died in 1985 and has been a legend in Mexico ever since.
This mushroom is very tall and thin and it has a very beautiful, unique shaped cap.

THAI This strain from Thailand is very suitable for beginners. The colonization speed is average and it fruits very easily.
The mushrooms come in large quantities at once, and during later flushes they can become pretty big. This strain was very popualar
with UK users when they were legally on sale a few years back.

KOH SAMUI is one of the rarer strains, It originates from the Thai island Koh Samui which is enriched with a lot of vegetation and waterfalls.
This is another strain found by the legendary ethnomycologist John Allen.
This strain produces mycelium and fruits fast. The mushrooms will not grow very tall, but do get quite thick.
Thanks to this capacities the strain has lately gained an enormous popularity.

MAZATAPEC
This is one of the finer strains from Mexico, and easy to cultivate. It’s a good strain to start with. The size of the mushroom is average, and the cap is particularly unique shaped. It won’t open very quickly though, only at the very last moment.

TRANSKEI This mushroom from ranskei, South Africa was discovered recently in 2002.
It is the first hallucinogenic mushroom to originate from the African continent, as far as we know.
The mushroom is average-sized and has one important detail: this mushroom will, most likely, overtake the casing layer.
This strain producs mycelium very quickly and produces a nice amount of mushrooms.

AMAZONIAN This strain comes all the way from the Amazon. It’s a big and fleshy mushroom which can produce very nice flushes. This is one of the strains that is recommended to starting cultivators. There will not be many mushrooms, but that will be completely compensated by the size of them.

CUBA This strain comes from Cuba. It´s a very nice mushroom with beautiful shaped caps.
If it comes to the cultivation of this strain, it’s all a little better then average. The mycelium of this strain grows very very fast and is extremely rhizomorphic, which makes this strain in potential a massive yielder.

EQUADOR This is a strain from the Ecuadorian mountains. The spores were collected from a mushroom that grew over 3500 feet. This strain of cubensis is one of the most popular cubensis strains for home cultivation. Growing them is not difficult and first flushes are often extremely good. It´s not an exceptionally fast colonizer, but it fruits very easily and abundantly. On top of that the effect of the mushroom can be very strong.
We advise this strain to beginning cultivators.

BAN HUA THANON Found on the island Koh Samui by John Allen, near Hua Thanon.
It´s very resistant to contams, and its a super fast colonizing strain.
It tends to grow some very thick mushrooms with large caps.

GULF COAST The gulf coast strain originates from the Mexican gulf bordering states (Texas, Alabama, Florida, Georgia).
This species of Psilocybe cubensis occurs naturally throughout tropical and subtropical zones
around the world and is especially common around the Gulf Coast and southern United States and eastern Mexico.
